Hello everyone, as you know cooking oil like rice bran or soyabean oil are very expensive in the market. A 15 litre tank costed me around Rs. 1700. Are there any places or websites that provide good offers to buy the oil? I looked on Amazon and Flipkart, but most of the reviews are not good. Can you please suggest any other website? And it would be helpful if they do pan India delivery. Thanks

You can use DMart if that is available in your city. Dmart is agressively expanding grocery market.
Yes, D Mart is available. I used to do shopping there before some time. I actually didn’t go there because it was far from my living place.
You can try from local shops that is a good option, if you compromise on rate you will have to miss on quality
I don’t want to compromise on quality at all. This is why I am willing to pay more but if I can get discount then it is a good thing.
My take. You should slowly start shifting to Cold Pressed Oil like our old times. Good for health and well being
I haven’t tried Cold Press oil before. If you have any good brands that I must purchase, then please let me know. I am not familiar with good brands for these. And one more thing – how expensive are they?
Honestly, the local kirana shops are the best place to get your monthly supply of cooking oil at economical prices. In my experience of several years, the price of oil bottle/ pouch per litre or 5kg/10kg pack is lesser at local shops as compared to Blink it, DMart, Big Basket or Swiggy Instamart.
If you don’t have access to a local shop or looking for doorstep delivery, Big Basket still has better deals than other apps, but not as good as local shops. I have only bought oil online in case of emergencies. Rest of the times, I make sure to get my supplier from nearby Kirana shop.
Actually I found a seller on Flipkart who is selling Saffola Oil at almost 20 rupees lesser than Local Kirana Shop and I have been ordering 5 liter pack from them. I agree usually the prices of Kirana Shop are low.
