Green Tea lovers are always looking for the Best Green Tea for weight loss. I am sharing my review of Lipton and Wagh Bakri Green Tea and which one is a better choice.
Lipton was the first Green Tea brand I explored. As I had never tried other brands, I felt it was fairly good. I bought the tea-bag version and used to add lemon and honey to it. The taste was fine and I continued using it for a few months. When I saw the Wagh Bakri Green Tea on the local store’s shelf, I was tempted to try a new brand. Wagh Bakri turned out to be a better choice for me. Lipton Green Tea was mild as compared to Wagh Bakri, and I could feel more intense flavors in Wagh Bakri. Though both the brands offer different flavors, Lipton flavors feel subtle.
If you are looking for stronger flavors and a darker color, Wagh Bakri is a better brand. Price-wise, both are economical. I have also ordered Vedka Green Tea and Kangra Leaf Green Tea from Amazon. All of them are quite good.
Also, no Green Tea brand can promote weight loss. It only aids in digestion and can be a part of your weight loss program.
Are there any better suggestions about Green Tea and which brands have you tried?
I have always felt that Lipton is overhyped. They have used weight loss as primary marketing strategy which is very misleading. My mother believes that Green Tea helps in losing weight, which is definitely ridiculous. I have tried several Green teas but nothing works for it. Btw, thanks for sharing that Wagh Bakri is better than Lipton. I will definitely try it. I used Tea Box’s Green Tea, which is expensive but I like it. If you like Green Teas, you can try it as well. At my home, we use normal Wagh Bakri as regular tea so I trust it to produce good Green Tea as well.
Yes, we have been using Wagh Bakri for normal milk tea for decades now, and that is what tempted me to try Wagh Bakri Green Tea. I absolutely agree with how these Green Tea brands mislead people by making claims that GT can directly help with weight loss. It’s time more and more people became aware that it is not a magic potion! Lipton was the first brand to join the bandwagon, with all their advertisements claiming how GT led to a flatter tummy.
I will definitely give Tea Box’s Green Tea a try. Thanks for the recommendation.
Yeah, I think Tea Box can be a life changer for you. I also recently gave Tea Trunk’s Kahwa Green Tea. I think it is pretty good but very expensive. I loved the overall taste and quality. It is definitely premium segment tea and inspired from Kashmir Kahwa tea. It has warm, nutty, spicy notes. They don’t claim weight loss but claim that it is good for digestion. Here’s the link to it:

Thanks for trying new tea variants and recommending them to tea lovers like us. Winters are here and it’s time to explore some amazing green tea and kahwa options. Nutty and spicy notes sound interesting. It looks like a genuine brand if they are not promoting weight loss, thankfully!
