Which Among These Is the Best Casual Shoes Brand for Men: Puma, Adidas, or Nike? Please Suggest

It is been almost five years since I last bought a pair of Nike shoes, and honestly, they have held up really well. They’ve been my go to for comfort, durability, and that sporty style I love, but after all this time, I am starting to feel like it’s time for an upgrade. This time around, I am looking for something that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style, but I am also keeping an eye on the price. Nike was great, but they are definitely on the expensive side.

What I’m Looking for in a New Pair of Shoes: For everyday wear, I need shoes that are both comfortable and versatile. I prefer something that gives a sporty vibe but still looks casual enough to wear with jeans or shorts when I’m running errands or meeting friends. Durability is another major factor shoes that start wearing out in a few months are a dealbreaker for me. So, I have een looking at Puma, Adidas, and of course, Nike again, but I am unsure which brand will give me the best value for money.

Nike: As I mentioned, my previous pair of Nikes lasted me five solid years, so I know this brand delivers on durability. Their Air Max and Revolution series, for example, are known for offering superior comfort and long-lasting wear, thanks to their air-cushioned soles and high-quality materials. However, there’s no denying that Nike shoes can be pricey. I am looking at shelling out somewhere around ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 for a good pair, and while I know they’re worth it, I wonder if I can get something just as comfortable for a lower price.

Adidas: Adidas has always seemed like a solid alternative to Nike. I read that their Cloudfoam and Ultraboost ranges are well-known for being extremely comfortable, especially for everyday wear. I have tried on a few pairs of Adidas in the store, and they seem to offer a lot of cushioning, which is great for long days on your feet. Plus, their designs tend to be a little more laid-back and casual, which I think suits my style. The price for Adidas shoes seems to fall around the same range as Nike, with some good options between ₹4,000 to ₹6,000. But I wonder—are they as durable as Nike?

Puma: Now, Puma is interesting because it tends to be a little more affordable than both Nike and Adidas, with most casual shoes falling between ₹2,500 to ₹5,000. I have heard good things about their Ignite and NRGY lines, which are said to be comfortable and well cushioned, ideal for everyday wear. However, I am unsure about their durability and long-term comfort. Are they as good as Adidas or Nike when it comes to supporting your feet throughout the day?

Has anyone here tried all three brands for casual wear? Which one would you recommend for someone like me who’s looking for a mix of comfort, style, and value for money? Any specific models you would suggest?

    1. Nike are expensive for daily usage. I am looking to go for adidas running shoe in 1500-2000 rupees range. Their seem to be great offer on those on Flipkart. However, I am not sure if Flipkart sells original adidas. Only way to find out is by ordering them and then checking their serial number, if it is available on Google, then genuine, otherwise first copy.
