Plus-size people have been struggling for years to find good clothing brands that are size-inclusive. Earlier, there were only a few brands, such as aLL, that catered to plus-size women and men. However, the fashion scenario has changed, and today, even plus-size individuals, just like others, can find stylish casual, formal, and party-wear clothes. Myntra has emerged as a one-stop shop for our fashion needs, and you can find plus-size brands as well on the portal. I have struggled for years to find that perfect brand, and thanks to Myntra, I got to discover and explore several amazing brands that are doing a great job. Here’s a look at my top picks:
Sztori
Sztori is one of the first plus-size brands that I came across on Myntra. It is a great brand for women who are looking for stylish clothes in different patterns. You can find trendy dresses, maxi dresses, party wear, tops, shirts, jeans, trousers and more. You name it, and they have it! You can also find stylish winter wear like jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts from Sztori. I bought several outfits from the brand, and the quality has been impressive. Even the clothes that I bought 3-4 years ago have lasted me till date. There is no color fading or shrinking. If you wish to flaunt the latest styles and trendy clothes, you must explore Sztori. It is an affordable brand, and you can find clothes ranging from INR 1000 to 1500.
PlusS
PlusS is my second favorite brand from Myntra. There is a wide range of dresses and tops, along with jeans and jackets, offered by the brand. I have bought more than 5-6 dresses and a few tops, all of which turned out to be really good. It is an economical brand and during the sale, you can grab the best deals. There were a few PlusS stores as well but off late I have been buying their outfits online only from Myntra.
Oxolloxo
Oxolloxo is yet another amazing fashion brand for plus-size women. There are trendy tops, shirts, and dresses that you can explore from the brand. It is not exactly an affordable brand and you will find clothes in the INR 1000 to 2000 range.
Pink Moon
Pink Moon is a great brand where you can find a wide array of clothing options. You will find everything from stylish dresses to tops and shirts for your wardrobe. They have some amazing shirts for office and casual wear. I am yet to buy something from them but have many clothes from the brand on my wishlist. This is not a budget brand; the clothes range from INR 1500 to 2000.
Max
Max needs no introduction. It has been a well-known brand for years, with standalone stores and outlets in malls across India. Recently, the brand launched its plus-size collection, one of the best collections to grab your hands on. The stylish tops are a must-have in your wardrobe. They also have a beautiful collection of casual yet chic dresses that offer an elegant and sophisticated look. I have bought a few dresses from Max, which are impressive from the quality, fit, and design viewpoint. You can buy Max’s clothes at different prices, from affordable to expensive. Sales offer some great deals that you must not miss. They also have some lovely winter wear and jeans in their collection.
Vero Moda
Vero Moda is one of the top fashion brands loved by women for years. It is good to see how top brands are transforming themselves into size-inclusive brands. You can find everything in their collection, from tops to shirts and dresses to jeans. They have some superb jackets and sweaters as well for plus-size women. With Vero Moda, there is no compromise with style and the latest fashion. You get trendy clothes in all sizes which is what makes the brand special. Vero Moda is a premium brand and the clothes are in the expensive range. The average price of clothes is around INR 1500 to 2500.
Femella
Femella is hands down the best brand for casual, chic, and party dresses. Though you can also find other outfits in their collection, such as jumpsuits, they specialize in different types of dresses. There is a wide array of options to choose from their beautiful dresses with unique designs, prints, cuts, and silhouettes. They are a must-have in your wardrobe. Though Femella has its own e-commerce website and app, I prefer buying their dresses from Myntra owing to the easy return and refund process. Femella dresses are not easy on the pocket. They cost between INR 2000 to 3000. Even during the sale, you will find their dresses priced at no less than INR 1800-2000.
Sindrella
Sindrella is a relatively new brand on the block. But there are some trending dresses and cotton tops that you can explore from the brand. I bought a denim dungaree dress from Sindrella and was quite happy with my purchase. It is good to see a brand offering stylish outfits for plus-size women. It is an expensive brand with clothes priced around INR 1500- 2000.
Varanga
Varanga is an ethnic wear brand that is size-inclusive. You can find kurtas, suits, and anarkalis till 3XL and 4XL. Their art silk outfits look beautiful and gracious. I have bought many kurtas from the brand and I am quite satisfied with the purchase. The embellishments and embroideries make their ethnic outfits a must-have in your wardrobe. It is an economical brand that offers unparalleled deals during sales.
Libas
Libas is yet another ethnic wear brand for women that offers kurtas and suit sets for routine, work, and party wear. Libas outfits are cost-effective and simple. They offer outfits to 5XL and 6XL to meet the needs of plus-size women.
Apart from these brands, there are other top brands, such as AND and Global Desi, that cater to plus-size women as well. However, these brands are expensive, and you can find good deals only during the sale season.
