I am searching for a quiet hair clipper that can be used to cut kids hair without scaring them of with noise and vibration.
Unfortunately not many companies mention about the noise levels so I am confused which product I should buy. I checked some hair clippers from WAHL brand. Some people say this brand hair trimmers are silent comparatively.
We have trimmers from Philips and Panasonic and both are pretty bad when it comes to noise and vibration.
Any specific model information please.
You are looking for hair Clippers only right? not beard trimmer? in that case Wahl must be your best option because they sell only hair clippers and they are experts in that field.
For hair clippers, usually the professional (and heavy) ones are quieter in nature. Anything more than Rs 2000/- should be something you should look at.
Clippers that run on battery are slightly quieter than when running on mains power.
I have use personal home trimmers of Philips Norelco, Panasonic and Wahl Color Pro.
Philips is too noisy. It is trimmer cum hair clipper.
Panasonic is relatively quiet. But hair clipper comb is not as good. It doesnt catch light stray hair.
Wahl clipper is also quieter than Norelco. Combs are good. My choice so far. Beard trimming is not so smooth in this.
You can go with a VEGA hair trimmer. The trimmer is really very nice. There are a number of Machines and detachables that you can attach for your facial hair remover. You can conveniently use it as it is very light weight. These include the hair nosal hair remover, for arms, and upper lips, arms and you can use it on your face as well. I got it at 1850 rupees from Amazon.
As much as I have heard and used trimmers, I can say that Philips offers the best of anyone available in the market especially when it comes to personal use at home, I am not too sure about the ones hairdressing guys use at their shops. There are a lot of other brands, but no one comes close to the features and handling like Philips. From my personal experience, I have used Beardo’s trimmer, Philips and also Wahl. Beardo is the worst one, very bad hair length adjuster and makes a lot of noise. Wahl is pretty good and makes less noise, but Philips just beats them both in every department. I think you should look for Philips trimmer, there are plenty of options available.
For quite trimmer,
use earbuds
for non-vibrative trimmer
use the other person to do the work
(on a lighter note….)
