My Experience And Review of Four Flavours of Rage Coffee

I don’t know about you but I like to have the best tea or coffee whenever I am drinking any of them. I usually start my day with tea but during the day and working I prefer drinking coffee. So coffee is very important to me. The problem is that ever since I have known coffee my mom purchases Nescafe and I have not known any other brand. But a couple of months back, I switched to Sleepy Owl but the thing is that they have very good cold brew coffee but not instant coffee. Brew coffee is okay sometimes but it gets expensive for daily usage. This is why I started to look for other instant coffee and came across Rage Coffee. They have many flavors Original, Dark Chocolate, Irish Hazelnut, Creme Caramel, Sparky Orange, Chai Latte, Butterscotch Delight, Mint Mocha, and Vanilla Bubblegum.

I tried four flavors and I will share my experience with each one of them.

Original: When I took that first sip of the original Rage coffee, it was a premium experience. The taste was incredibly smooth, caressing my taste buds with the rich, bold flavor of roasted coffee beans. What amazed me most was that, despite its intensity, it didn’t have that bitterness which many strong coffees tend to have. And, to my delight, there wasn’t a hint of acidity either. It was a truly remarkable coffee experience. You just need a small teaspoon for getting a perfect caffeine intake. You can buy a 50-gram jar at Rs 299.

Dark Chocolate: I had really high hopes with this one because dark chocolate has always been my favorite flavor. This coffee didn’t feel proper and had some citrus undertones when I tried it black. Another thing was that it didn’t have the right amount of dark chocolate flavor, it felt very subtle. When I tried this with milk, I liked the overall texture but it felt bitter. So I was a little disappointed. You can buy this for Rs. 349 at 50 gms.

Creme Caramel: When I tried the black version of this coffee, it struck me with its bold flavor. With the intense coffee taste, I could detect subtle citrusy undertones, which added a unique twist. However, when I sampled the caramel flavored variation, I noticed a slightly different experience. The caramel notes came across as slightly burnt, introducing a hint of bitterness that lingered between sips. Later, when I mixed this coffee with warm milk, it retained its bold coffee strength, but the caramel flavor became more understated. It works well without adding sugar too. It is priced the same as Dark Chocolate.

Irish Hazelnut: To be honest, I really had low expectations from this, but it left me pleasantly surprised. This is because I usually am not a fan of hazelnut flavor in my coffee. When I decided to try this flavor variant without any milk, I was surprised by the subtle sweetness it offered. Now in second tasting, I followed the recommended instructions and added the suggested amount of milk. The result was simply delightful! The sweetness in the blend was perfectly balanced, and the hazelnut flavor didn’t overpower or get lost in the mix. It was a very good combination. It has the same price as other flavors.

Final thoughts:

There are many flavors, and I tried only four. But, among them, the best one was Irish Hazelnut. I didn’t expect this at all before trying. I was pleasantly surprised and loved the fact that my search for instant coffee is now over.

I would also like to mention that Original flavor is also pretty good. You can adjust it according to your liking. The worst flavor is definitely Dark Chocolate and the third best is Creme Caramel.
