A hair spa is a superfood that offers moisture and adds shine to the hair. It should be used once in a while apart from conditioner to smoothen the hair and keep it lustrous and nourished. Today, we will talk about two popular brands of hair masks- Loreal and Schwarzkopf and how effective they are.
Loreal Hair Spa
There are different hair masks from Loreal, but I am talking about the ‘Loreal Hair Spa’ variant. It is a little budget-friendly variant as compared to the other masks that cost around INR800. It is a blue-colored tub, which is bigger than the usual masks from Loreal. My experience with the mask has been exceptionally good. You can apply the mask after shampooing and leave it for 5 minutes, then rinse it. The mask can be a good substitute for your conditioner. If you wish to use it occasionally, use the mask on weekends for your at-home spa treatment. For a spa-like effect, shampoo your hair and towel dry them. Apply the mask, spreading it over each strand from roots to ends. Leave it for 30- 45 minutes. If possible, steam the hair and then rinse it. If you are wondering how to steam hair at home, dip a towel in hot water and wrap it around your hair. I am sharing this from my personal experience- this at-home spa will leave your hair smooth, shiny, and tangle-free.
To add to your spa experience, you can add the bullets into your mask. These bullets are small glass bottles with a liquid that can be added to the mask to enhance its effects.
Schwarzkopf
It is a good substitute for the Loreal Hair Spa mask and is available at almost the same price. I have tried the mask twice and was happy with the results. Just like the Loreal mask, Schwarzkopf is suitable for at-home spa treatment. The only difference I noticed is that you must leave it on your hair for longer to get the best results. Hence, you can’t use it as a substitute for conditioner, as leaving the mask only for 5 minutes won’t offer any visible difference. You can invest in the Schwarzkopf mask if you intend to use it once a week for an at-home hair spa treatment.
