Humidifier for dry weather in Bangalore

I am looking for a humidifier to help with dry weather problems indoors in Bangalore. Any suggestions pls?

I asked in a nearby medical shop and they have one Dr Trust model. The cost was approx. 2000.

Anyone tried smaller humidifiers at home? I can see many small ones sold for Rs 500 or less. There are many bad reviews on those. Please suggest.

  1. There are small ones in most online stores – Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, JioMart etc. I have noticed they all sale more or less the same models from China with different brand names pasted on them. You can go with any of those.

Most under Rs 500 have 200-300ml capacity. Usually they have two modes: continuous mode (300ml would last for 2 hours or so) and intermittent mode where vapour will come for few seconds and then stop for few seconds. In the intermittent mode, 300ml water may last for 4 hours.

you should buy a small one and see the benefit first. The small ones can double up as car humidifier as well.

    1. Thanks, I had ordered a small one for Rs 450 from Amazon. It was nice with good quality LED lighting. But I had to return it because there was no way to use it with lights off.
The seller was also a cheater as he was asking for 5 star rating for rs 50 cashback.
