Any Indian Organic Grocery Brands That You Think Are Good Other Than 24 Mantra and Organic Tattva?

So I have seen a lot of people actually dying from heart attacks and sudden things like that in last 3-4 years. That’s why I have become more mindful of the food I eat and where it comes from. Almost everything in the market is mixed with all the pesticides and chemicals in conventionally grown produce. I read a lot about switching to organic products seemed like the healthier choice. After some trial and error, I’ve mainly settled on two brands: 24 Mantra Organic and Organic Tattva. Here’s what my experience has been like with both.

24 Mantra Organic: I’ve been using 24 Mantra Organic products for a while now. I started with their pulses, and I can honestly say I noticed a difference. I had also tried their rice, it was fragrant and cooked perfectly, without any odd aftertaste. But I tend to use different brands for rice like Kohinoor and Dawaat. However, their tur dal is a great staple I’ve stuck with it cooks evenly, and I have never had any issues with quality. 24 Mantra has a wide range of products, from cereals to spices. The prices are a bit higher than non-organic brands, but I feel like the quality justifies it. Their packaging is also sturdy and easy to store.

Organic Tattva: Organic Tattva is another brand I tried when I wanted to expand my organic grocery list. I mostly buy their whole wheat flour and ghee, both of which are excellent. The flour makes for soft chapatis, and the ghee has a rich, authentic flavor, which reminded me of the ghee my grandma used to make at home. What stands out about Organic Tattva is that their products are often priced a little more reasonably compared to 24 Mantra, but the quality doesn’t drop. They also have a certification for their products, which gives me peace of mind knowing I’m getting genuine organic goods.

Final Thoughts:

While both brands are great, I tend to use 24 Mantra Organic for staples like rice and pulses and Organic Tattva for flour and ghee. The prices may be slightly higher than conventional products, but for me, the peace of mind and the health benefits are worth the extra cost.

If you’ve been thinking about going organic, I’d recommend trying out both of these brands and seeing which works best for you. Have any of you used 24 Mantra or Organic Tattva? Let me know your experiences with other organic brands in the comments!

  1. I am not a strict follower of organic produce, mainly because of the same concern whether it is really organic or not.
Red Poha and Jaggery are some things I usually buy from the organic brand NATURELAND.
The price is relatively less compared to 24 Mantra and Organic Tattva. In general I don’t trust any of these brands because organic certification etc is not very reliable in India.

    1. Thanks, I get your concern, but we can’t say anything about any product. However, we still can’t question over every facts like certification. Yes, FSSAI is a joke in India, but nonetheless. Coming to organic products, after using both of these brands, I noticed a fair bit of difference in quality from the ones we get at Kirana stores. I think they are definitely worth checking out. Even if you doubt the organic certification, the quality of produce they are selling is better.

  2. For specialised products, you can trust Organic India. It is a TATA brand and provide very good quality speciality organic products e.g. tea, moringa powder, tulsi, kahwa, jaggery etc.
They don’t have a lot of general grocery items though. You can check here: https://www.amazon.in/s?k=organic+india
