My laptop has two pin sockets for audio, one for speaker and one for mic. I am not able to use mobile headsets because it uses only one pin for both. I think all modern laptops have only one socket for both speaker and mic.
Is there a converter available to convert two socket to one socket so that I can use any mobile earphone? Pls suggest.

Search for “2 male 1 female Y splitter” and you will find many starting from Rs 100 or so. The cheapest ones work well. These are just some metal wire connections and nothing more.

Low quality ones use low quality material. So, longevity can be less. Additionally, bad quality metal and wires can cause loss in quality and unnecessary interference and heat. Though you will not notice it in normal usage.
It’s all the same Rs 30 material sold for 100-250 online. Bad quality material. It is a hit or miss if it will work.

Go to nearby mall and buy a quality one, for example BOATS.
