I used to use head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo. I think it had menthol and felt great on the scalp. Now I am bald – and no, it is not due to the shampoo. I am male and it is hereditary baldness.
I still remember that menthol feeling. may be it will feel much better on the bald head :8
Haha Karinadu, that’s the spirit! Yes it’s the methol that feels great on the scalp and creates a soothing effect. Menthol offers relief from irritation and itching.
I think from childhood I have used the menthol version of Head and Shoulders and I think works like a charm. It is definitely a shampoo that works and does what the marketing says. It is very rare. Even to this day, I prefer using it over other shampoos.
I agree with you, it’s rare and amazing to see a brand maintaining its quality for decades. My favourites from the brand are Lemon Fresh, Menthol, and Silky black.
