Has Anyone Tried Low-Calorie Salad Dressings from Fun Foods or Veeba?

I have been trying to keep my meals healthier, and one area I am struggling with is salad dressings. I love adding some flavor to my salads, but many traditional dressings are loaded with calories and fat. So, I started looking into low-calorie options, and two brands that caught my attention are Fun Foods and Veeba. Both of them offer a wide range of dressings, and I’ve noticed they are pretty popular in the market, especially when it comes to healthier alternatives. Now, I am not sure which brand to go for, and I would love to get some input from anyone who’s tried their low-calorie salad dressings.

Here’s what I’m curious about:

Fun Foods: I’ve seen they have low-calorie options like their Lite Thousand Island Dressing and Lite Mayo. I am wondering how these compare to the regular versions. Does the reduced fat or calorie content make them taste bland? I have used Fun Foods products before (mostly their regular sauces), and I found them tasty, but I am worried these lighter options might lack that punch of flavor.

Veeba: They offer a variety of healthy dressings, like Olive Oil & Vinegar and Honey Mustard, with reduced sugar and calories. Veeba also markets itself as a brand focused on healthier products, so I am inclined to trust them, but I have never actually tried their salad dressings. I would love to know if they hold up in terms of taste and quality, especially since I am looking for something light but flavorful.

Which brand has better-tasting low-calorie dressings? I want something that doesn’t sacrifice too much flavor while being healthier. Are the low-calorie options actually satisfying? Some low-calorie dressings can be watery or too thin in consistency, which can ruin the salad experience. How do these dressings hold up in variety? I don’t want to get stuck with just one flavor. Which brand has more exciting options for someone who loves experimenting with salads? Have any of you found that switching to these lighter dressings helped in keeping your meals on the healthier side without feeling deprived of taste?

I am planning to stock up soon, especially with the festive season coming up, so I would love to hear your experiences before making a purchase. Thanks!

  1. think it really depends on what you’re using the dressing for. If you like thick, creamy dressings, Fun Foods is the better option. Their Lite Thousand Island and Lite Mayo hold up well, even in wraps and sandwiches. Veeba, on the other hand, is more fluid, which is great for light salads but not so much if you need a thick spread. In terms of variety, Veeba definitely offers more options. I love their Sweet Onion Dressing, and their Chipotle Southwest adds a nice smoky kick. Fun Foods is more about classic flavors, while Veeba is better for experimenting with different salad styles.

    1. I hadn’t even thought about using these dressings for wraps or sandwiches—great idea! Sounds like Fun Foods is better for thicker textures, while Veeba is more for fresh, lighter salads.

  2. I’ve tried both brands, and honestly, they each have their strengths. Fun Foods Lite Thousand Island is pretty decent it’s creamy, but you can tell it’s not as rich as the original. That said, it still works great if you mix it into a salad with other strong flavors. Veeba’s dressings, on the other hand, feel lighter and fresher, especially the Olive Oil & Vinegar one, which I love for simple veggie salads. One thing I noticed, though—Veeba’s consistency is thinner than Fun Foods, which could be a deal-breaker if you like thicker dressings. Price-wise, Fun Foods is often a bit cheaper, so if you’re on a budget, that’s something to consider too!

    1. Your point about budget and consistency is super useful. I definitely prefer something that doesn’t feel too watery, so I’ll keep an eye on that!

  3. I’m super particular about ingredient lists, and I personally prefer Veeba over Fun Foods when it comes to healthier options. Fun Foods still uses a fair amount of preservatives and artificial stabilizers, whereas Veeba markets itself as having no trans fats and fewer artificial additives. Flavor-wise, Veeba’s Honey Mustard is a winner—it has the right balance of tang and sweetness without being overwhelming. I found Fun Foods’ Lite Mayo a little too artificial-tasting, almost plasticky. If you’re looking for something natural-tasting, I’d say Veeba is the way to go.
