Hi all, I am looking for a wireless audio transmitter for my Sony Bravia smart tv. I want to be able to use bluetooth TWS earbuds and watch TV without disturbing anyone. I have seen some bluetooth transmitter+receiver on amazon. Can someone please suggest from experience? Is there going to be a lag between video and audio?
I think you should go for a good quality one above 3k?
We had tried this one and felt there was a small lag in the audio. Really confused because the description says low-latency and that was why we bought it.
Latency is the first thing to check. Does your earphone or headphone support codecs like APTX or APTX LOW LATENCY?
If so, search for aptx in the product description. Example: https://www.amazon.in/Cubetek-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Adapter-Playstation/dp/B0756H84GP
This one says aptx Low latency. I do not have personal experience with this product.
If you have budget, this one from Avantree can be the ideal product: https://www.amazon.in/Avantree-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B07TLHRPDP/
This can connect to two headsets simultaneously. Is known for low-latency videos (no noticeable lags between video and audio)
Additionally, this doesn’t have a battery can directly work plugged in to extra USB port in your TV or elsewhere. This is a good feature because I did not find any good battery backup with similar products. And those did not work when battery was charging. It is better to have something that can work while connected to power.
And you should know that sound quality on bluetooth is not great.
I was thinking of trying one under rs 500. You think there will be latency? Saw one on Flipkart and people have written good about it. Some have written about negligible latency.
Just an update. I ordered a cheap one from Amazon and that is returnable. So I think it should be ok. Thinking how to connect usb charge for it because my amazom fire tv stick is using the usb power. Should I split the usb power somehow and give power to the transmitter as well?
Wait a minute. You are using Amazon Fire TV? Are you aware that Fire TV Stick has Bluetooth capability? Though it is limited to what you watch via Fire TV.

I am sorry I could not reply earlier. What a fool I had been! Never realized Fire Stick has Bluetooth. I tried and it worked well. No latency in video and audio. You saved my day, thank you!
One thing I notice, there is no way to change volume. And my TV’s lowest volume is too high in my Bluetooth earbuds. Any help?
Did you try a different earphone? There are some with volume control.
This is my first time pay a visit at here and i am really impressed to read all
at one place.
It’s really very complex in this full of activity life to listen news on TV, so I just use internet for that
reason, and obtain the most recent information.
