Best WiFi Signal Extenders At Affordable Price

So, it’s been a year since I started using Jio Fiber for WiFi, but the issue is that our house 2550 sq ft. and it doesn’t provide good signal in all corners, so I was searching for WiFi extenders for better signal everywhere. Jio themselves offer extender but it’s expensive and the reviews weren’t all that good. I decided to look into the market and discuss it one of my friends who works in Tenda. He gave me some good suggestions for extenders and all of them have something good or better about them. I went with Netgear WiFi Range Extender because of its universal compatibility.

1. Netgear WiFi Range Extender:

So, I’ve been using this Netgear WiFi Range Extender for a few months now, and I gotta say, it’s been a lifesaver for my home. I have Jio Fiber, and this little guy has been a game-changer. It’s super easy to set up – I just plugged it in, followed the instructions on the app, and it was ready to go. The LEDs are really helpful for figuring out the best spot to place it. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my WiFi signal, especially in the farthest corners of my house. I can now stream movies and play games without any buffering. The only downside is that the speed isn’t as fast as my main router when I’m right next to it. But for my everyday needs, it’s more than enough.

Overall, I’m really happy with this Netgear WiFi Range Extender. It’s a great solution for anyone who needs to extend their WiFi coverage at home.

2. TP-Link WiFi Range Extender:

The TP-Link WiFi Range Extender offers a reliable throughput performance and fast, easy setup, it’s a great choice for both home and small office use. One of the standout features of this range extender is its compatibility with routers to create a mesh network. This allows you to seamlessly roam between different access points without experiencing any drop in connection. However, it’s important to note that it does not support 160MHz channels, which can limit its maximum speed. While the compact design is convenient, some users may find it a bit bulky. Additionally, the lack of a passthrough outlet can be a minor inconvenience, as it requires you to plug your router into a separate outlet.

3. Tenda A9 WiFi Repeater:
Tenda A9 WiFi Range Extender is another great choice to extend your WiFi coverage, especially if you have a big house. It is really easy to set up. You just plug it in, press a button, and it automatically connects to your main router. It is a relatively affordable option compared to other WiFi range extenders. As it is a budget-friendly option, it doesn’t have the fastest speeds. If you’re looking for the best possible performance, you might want to consider a more expensive model. Another thing to keep in mind is that it doesn’t support dual-band WiFi or have a passthrough outlet. So if those are your requirements, then it’s better to for TP Link or Netgear one.

In my view, these are the best WiFi extenders in price range of up to 2500 Rs. They are value for money and if you want fancier one with more features, you can try the upgraded model from these companies itself.

  1. I have a slightly different problem I actually bought a WiFi extender a few months ago, but it hasn’t improved my internet as much as I expected. I got a budget model, and while it does extend the signal, the speed seems to drop a lot when I connect through it. Your post made me realize that I might have picked the wrong type. Do WiFi extenders always slow down speeds, or does it depend on the model? I was thinking of switching to the TP-Link one you mentioned, but I don’t want to invest in another one unless I’m sure it’ll help. Any tips on how to avoid speed loss with these devices?

    1. That’s a really common issue. Some extenders, especially single-band ones, can cut your speeds in half because they use the same channel to send and receive data. That’s likely what’s happening with your current model. If you’re experiencing a major slowdown, I’d suggest looking for a dual-band extender that supports 5 GHz as well as 2.4 GHz this helps manage congestion better and provides more stable speeds. The TP-Link extender you’re considering should be a solid upgrade, especially if your current one is a basic single-band model. Also, placement matters a lot! If your extender is too far from the main router, it’s just repeating a weak signal rather than boosting a strong one. Have you tried adjusting its position to see if that makes a difference?

  2. Looking to get a WiFi extender for my parents’ house because they constantly complain about weak signals in their bedroom. The router is placed in the living room, and no matter what we try, the signal just doesn’t reach far enough. I was initially thinking of upgrading their broadband plan, but after reading your post, I feel like a signal extender might be the simpler fix. Do you think something like the TP-Link extender would work well in a house with thick walls? Also, how does it handle multiple devices at the same time? My parents use their phones, the TV, and sometimes a laptop, so stability is a priority.

    1. Thick walls can sometimes weaken signals, but the TP-Link model does a decent job of penetrating obstacles, especially if you place it strategically. It’s dual-band, so it can handle multiple devices without too much congestion, but I’d suggest placing it in a central spot rather than a corner to minimize signal loss. If your parents use the internet mainly for streaming and browsing, this should work well. But if they need super stable speeds for work or gaming, a mesh system might be a better alternative. Have you considered that, or are you looking for a simple plug-and-play solution?

  3. Never realized WiFi extenders made such a big difference until my friend got one Her WiFi barely worked in the guest room before but now it feels like there’s a router right inside Your breakdown of extenders is super helpful since I’ve been thinking of getting one for my place I live in an apartment and the biggest problem is the weak signal on my balcony I love working there in the mornings but the internet keeps dropping Would the Netgear extender be a good choice for a smaller apartment or is it more for bigger homes

    1. For an apartment setup, the Netgear extender can still work well, but honestly, if your issue is just the balcony, you might not need a super high-powered model. A mid-range option like the Tenda A9 could also do the trick. If you place the extender closer to your balcony (without being too far from the router), it should be able to give you a strong enough signal to work outside without interruptions. Do you mostly need it for light work like emails and browsing, or do you do video calls too? Because if stability is key, I would recommend dual-band options over single-band ones.
