Winter season tends to dry the face skin, and applying makeup on dry skin is a big NO. Ponds cream can be applied on the face as a base before the makeup to get a glowy and hydrated look.
Nivea Cold Cream
My second favorite in the cold cream brands is the Nivea. It is deeply nourishing and keeps the face moisturized for several hours without the need for reapplication. Nivea cream has been on the block for decades; even before the brand launched their body lotions. If you haven’t tried the Nivea cold cream, give it a try this winter season.
Lotus Professional Phyto- RX Skin Smoothening and Deep Moisturizing Cream
Lotus is a relatively new brand, but it has emerged as a top cosmetic brand that offers quality products. The lotus cream has turned out to be a great pick for me. I had been using Ponds and Nivea alternately before I discovered the lotus cream. The best thing about the cream is that it is deeply moisturizing yet very light on the skin. It is not thick and sticky but nourishes the face well. The skin feels soft and supple, and it smells great too! Lotus cream is a little expensive, but it is worth every penny.
Garnier Nourishing Cold Cream
Garnier cold cream instantly nourishes the face as it gets absorbed quite fast. Even during extreme cold and dry weather, the cream will keep the skin moisturized for long. It is an affordable cream, and you can definitely give it a try.

The quality is excellent, and the creams can easily last you a month. Because of the thicker consistency of cold creams, you need a small amount to cover the face and neck. Our neck needs moisturization, too.
