Body washes have emerged as a great alternative to soaps. While many people still prefer soaps for bathing, body washes can be a good change. There are some people like me who use soaps for summer and switch to gentle body washes during winter. Soaps can be a bit harsh for the winter season and make the skin dry and itchy. There are amazing brands that offer gentle and nourishing body washes, but some of them can be beyond the budget for many families.
Here, I have come up with some affordable body washes that are not only cost-effective, but there is no compromise on the quality.
- Fiama
I was not very sure of the brand initially, but to be honest, the Fiama body wash and soaps are really good. The body wash comes in different variants such as Patchouli & Macadamia, Menthol & Magnolia, Blackcurrant & Bearberry, Lemongrass & Jojoba, and Peach & Avocado to name a few. I have tried the Blackcurrant and Peach & Avocado ones and can swear for their effectiveness. They lather quite well and smell amazing. Just few drops are enough for lathering. Use a good loofah and you are good to go. The Fiama body wash can be bought from Amazon and Flipkart at great deals.
- Nivea
Nivea is the second best choice of affordable body wash for winter. It is gentle on the skin yet gives a good showering experience. Nivea needs no introduction, and all of its body care products are impressive. From face creams to body lotions and deodorants to body washes, Nivea never fails to amaze. There are different variants for body wash, such as Powerfruit, Lemon & Oil, Fresh pure, cream care, and Frangipani & oil. My personal favourites are Frangipani and Powerfruit, as they keep me smelling great all day long. These body washes don’t rip the moisture off my skin.
- Dove
Dove is yet another popular brand for gentle skin products. I use several Dove products, such as deodorants, shampoos, and conditioners. Their body washes are equally impressive. Gentle on the skin yet effective! There are several variants of Dove body washes, namely Deep Mositure, Relaxing Shea Butter, Refreshing, Relaxing Almond Cream, Deeply Nourishing, Gentle Exfoliating Beads and much more.
All of these brands are easily available online at Nykaa, Myntra, Flipkart, and Amazon. Their starting price range is INR 200 to 250 which is quite affordable as compared to body washes from luxe brands. You don’t really need to spend a bomb to buy a good body wash.
