My younger sister is lactose intolerant, so we’ve been trying to find a good everyday almond milk for her. Two brands that keep popping up are So Good and Raw Pressery, but I am not sure which one would taste better for regular use. I want something that is not just nutritious but also has a flavor she’ll enjoy without getting bored of it quickly.
So Good Almond Milk: I have read that So Good is pretty popular and widely available in India. Their unsweetened almond milk seems to be a good choice for people trying to avoid extra sugar. It is also enriched with vitamins like B12 and calcium, which is great for someone avoiding dairy. But what I’m really curious about is how it tastes; is it too bland, or does it have a slight nutty flavor? A lot of people seem to like it for smoothies or cereal, but I’m wondering if it’s creamy enough to drink on its own? My sister sometimes drinks almond milk by itself, so it needs to taste good without adding anything extra.
Raw Pressery Almond Milk: On the other hand, I have heard that Raw Pressery has a slightly richer, creamier texture. They seem to have a more natural approach since their almond milk is cold-pressed and doesn’t have added preservatives, which makes it feel more premium. However, it’s a bit more expensive than So Good. The reviews I have seen talk about Raw Pressery being closer to real almonds in taste, but I’m worried that it might be a bit too thick or strong for everyday use. My sister would probably prefer something mild that’s easy to pair with breakfast or snacks.
Price and Availability: Price-wise, So Good tends to be more affordable and is often available in larger packs, which is great if you’re going through almond milk quickly. Raw Pressery comes in smaller quantities and costs more, but people say it feels more like a fresh, gourmet product. I’m trying to figure out if the higher price is worth it for taste and texture, especially when you use it daily.
Has anyone tried both brands? I would love to know which one has a better taste and is easier for everyday use. Is Raw Pressery really that much better in flavor, or does So Good offer enough quality for a reasonable price? Any feedback would be super helpful!
I didn’t get much feedback, so I decided to try both myself and share my experience here if anyone wants to know. After trying both brands, I feel So Good is the better option for me. So Good has a creamier texture and a more balanced flavor. It is not too sweet or overpowering, which works great whether you’re drinking it on its own or adding it to your coffee or cereal. Raw Pressery wasn’t bad, but it tasted a bit thinner, almost watery, especially compared to So Good. It also felt more like a proper milk substitute. Raw Pressery, while fresh, lacked that smooth, creamy feel I was expecting. Both are priced similarly, but considering the taste and consistency, I would say So Good offers better value for money. Both brands are good in their own way, but for everyday use, I would stick to So Good. If you are still on the fence, I’d suggest trying small packs of both and seeing what suits your taste.
Hope this helps anyone else with the same question!
