Try BlueStone for light weight gold necklace

This is about BlueStone Jewellery if you do not know what products they sell. Until now I was thinking BlueStone is all about diamond jewellery. Even friends and family members were thinking the same.

We went for some gold chain shopping in Marathalli, Bangalore and went to all big shops like Bheema Jewellers, GRT Jewellers, JoyAllukas etc.

All these shops are placed next to each other. And there was huge rush due to some festival maybe. I will try to write my full shopping and hopping 🙂 experience in another post.

All these big shops had necklaces that had more gold weight but unattractive design. I think it was due to the fact that people here prefer to add more gold weight in the ornaments. In contrast, people from my native try to spend less on gold and want to find designs that appear to contain more gold than the real weight.

We wanted to buy a light weight necklace for a thread-ceremony gift and we knew the kid will never wear this. It was just for formality. The best we could find had about 16 grams gold. Before finalising, we casually walked into nearby BlueStone shop to see just in case there was anything good. To my surprise, they had nice, modern design gold chains and the weights were surprisingly low. Can you imagine a good-looking chain with 4 grams gold? I liked many there. One thing is their making charges are higher due to modern designs. We purchased one and are happy with the decision. You can try too. (I am not promoting their brand. Just surprised because I did not know whey sold gold chains at affordable prices)

      1. These days 10-20% making charges are everywhere.
Many shops offer discount on making charges. Even I saw a Bluestone Ad recently that said upto 50% discount on making charges. So, the pricing then seems normal compared with other shops, isn’t it?

  1. I believe every product has only one basic price. it’s like buying a hair band in a kirana shop for Rs.10/- and the same would be sold at very big Mall for Rs.100/-

They might have added few price labels (printed nicely) and tied with a good nylon, shiny thread. For these two you(we) end up paying that much.

I believe this applies to all products…..

    Your thoughts??

  2. It’s great to hear about your positive experience with BlueStone’s gold chains. It’s rare to find such brands these days. It’s interesting how different regions have varying preferences when it comes to jewelry design and gold weight. I never understood this concept but whatever. I will definitely get hands on BlueStone, it seems they offer a unique selection of modern and lightweight gold chains. I might definitely look to get one for my mom. She will definitely love the pleasant surprise. Thank you for sharing this.
