Please Suggest the Best Brand for Dairy-Free Milk Alternatives?

My sister has recently been considering switching to dairy-free milk alternatives due to her lactose intolerance. We’ve been looking into almond, oat, and other plant-based milk options, but we’re not sure which brands are the most nutritious and tasty.

I’ve heard a lot about brands like Almond Breeze and Sofit, which are pretty popular in India for almond milk, but I’m curious if anyone has tried these, or if they have better recommendations. Almond Breeze is often recommended for its smooth texture, while Sofit seems to be a more affordable option that’s widely available. However, I’m not sure about the taste, especially when it’s used in tea or coffee, as some almond milk can taste a bit watery.

Then there’s Oatly and Urban Platter for oat milk. Oatly is a big name globally, known for being rich and creamy, but it’s a bit more expensive. I’ve also read that it’s better for frothing in lattes, which could be useful for anyone who enjoys coffee. Urban Platter, on the other hand, is an Indian brand offering oat milk at a relatively lower price, but I’m not sure about its flavor profile.

In terms of nutrition, almond milk is usually lower in calories but can lack the protein found in dairy. Oat milk has a better balance, with some fiber and protein, but it tends to be a bit higher in carbohydrates. I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with these or other brands, especially regarding their taste and how they hold up in tea, coffee, or even smoothies.

So, if you’ve made the switch to dairy-free milk, especially if you’ve tried almond or oat milk from these brands, I’d love to know which ones you recommend. What’s your favorite for taste and nutrition? Let me know!
