My Experience of Buying Jeans from Myntra!

Some people love the tactile experience of trying on different jeans in a store, while others prefer the convenience of shopping online. Personally, when it comes to buying jeans, I’ve found that shopping on Myntra offers several advantages.

I used to be someone who swore by offline shopping. But over time, I have realized that it’s not always the best option, especially when shopping for a specific brand like Levi’s or Spykar. One of the biggest reasons I switched to buying from Myntra is the convenience. Living in a small town, going to a physical store is a bit of a hassle. There’s only one mall nearby, and it’s a 2 hour drive.

Pricing & Discounts: Myntra often has better deals than what you’d find in-store. Especially during festive seasons like Diwali or the end of season sales, I have managed to grab Levi’s jeans at discounts of up to 50%. These kinds of deals are rare in physical outlets, especially for premium brands like Levi’s and Wrangler. Plus, Myntra often has coupons or bank offers that further reduce the price. I’ve rarely encountered such flexibility when shopping in malls.

Easy Returns and Exchanges: I was initially skeptical about shopping for jeans online because, as we all know, jeans are tricky when it comes to sizing. But Myntra’s hassle-free return and exchange policy changed that for me. I’ve ordered jeans, tried them on at home, and if they didn’t fit or feel right, I could easily return them with no questions asked. This kind of flexibility makes the online shopping experience much more stress-free.

Of course, online shopping isn’t perfect. First, you can’t try before you buy. While this isn’t an issue for me anymore since I know my size well, it could be a problem for others. While Myntra’s return policy makes this less of a headache, it’s still a small inconvenience compared to trying jeans in-store.

  1. I know a friend who was travelling to London and carried a lot of jeans and formal shoes for friends there. Also when he came back after a few days, it was easy to return the items that were not liked by the friends. I heard very good feedback from him regarding all this.

Pricing seems to have been improved over the years. Their dynamic pricing was a pain some time back. I think they still charge convenience fees or something?

    1. They charge convenience fees but I am okay with it. It’s not too large of an amount. Returns is one of the biggest reasons I shop online not just for jeans or other clothing but in general. Myntra is great at returns. I love that they refund money just in a couple of hours after pickup.

  2. I love the huge list of filters you can apply to get the right products with exact features you like. Myntra also helped find some plus size jeans which would have been difficult otherwise.

    1. Dude, I can completely get what you are saying because I also wear size 38-40 (differs according to brands), and the filters definitely save a lot of time and effort. The best part is that I can easily access baggy and regular fit jeans, otherwise most of the times, they only show slim fit jeans in popular section, which I personally hate, even if they are my size. The filters are definitely the best part.
