My comparison of baby wipes from different brands

Wanted to share this with fellow moms (and dads and everyone else :))

I’ve used more than five different brand baby wipes for my baby and here’s what I experienced.
I always tried to keep the wipes cost below 1 rupee per wipe.

Supples – cost effective, about 0.7 per wipe. Got a lot of water content. Very thin though.

Himalaya – Relatively expensive. The packet comes with a plastic cover and that makes the whole thing costly I guess. Quality is good and cost comes to about 1.5 rupees per piece.

Littles – thicker than Supples. Same or less moisture content. Cost is comparable with supples. I’m divided between supples and littles for my regular use.

Baby Dove – Thickest. And costliest. Actually I had to urgently buy a pack from the pharmacy at MRP. Otherwise, price may be a bit lower online. However, there was very low moisture content. Could be because I bought old stock?

Now a lot of companies have got into baby wipes business. Which one is your favourite? Please share if there is one that’s better and cheaper.

  1. 1 rupee or more is too expensive for a wipe. We buy any brand thats cost effective. There are so many brands in market and all advertise the same things. Afterall it is a synthetic cloth with water. Everything else in the advertisements are useless.

  2. Littles wipes are not consistent in quality. Initially they were very moist and thick. The last pack we got has very thin wipes and dry as well. I agree as others have said – least expensive ones are best and there is not a lot to see in terms of quality.
