Dear all, please help me to find a light laptop table which can be used on bed. I had one but that was too heavy due to solid wood.
I need at least 28 cm clearance from ground. Are there any such tables which are light to carry?

Get plastic or aluminium table. What is the budget? There are some good tables at around 2000 rupees.
You can get IKEA “Klipsk” bed table. That’s minimalistic plastic table. IKEA quality. But the ground clearance is less than 28cm. You can also try three things:
1) Check for aluminium legs. Most tables online have steel legs and heavy.
2) The table top should be plastic or aluminium for light weight. Or go for particle board (MDF). Solid wood will be heavy.
3) There are some designs with adjustable heights.
Personally, I liked Portronics My Buddy Plus. Check online. This is strong and lightweight/small.
There are many complains about the IKEA tables that they break mear the legs. Also IKEA products are sold at very high price compared to their store price. I would say go with a good one like portronics or callas.
Go with an adjustable legs table as suggested above. These are not so strong like the one you have. But that’s ok for day to day usage.
Most tables online are 60 cm x 40 cm x 28 cm. And the 28 cm is top of the table from ground. Why do you ask for 28 cm must?

One thing to suggest, these tables accumulate so much dust. So simplest design without drawers, holes, adjustments etc is the best to keep it clean. Also lack of bells and whistles makes it lighter and more portable.
You will find good quality folding legs wooden table on Amazon. I bought one from Amazon during the pandemic, and I am very happy with the experience. It is lightweight and easy to carry. Just the right height and dimensions for ease of use. You must explore on Amazon, there are good chances of finding something you are looking for.
