Never get these from online. I am saying from personal experience. Online bathroom fittings are same as worst quality material you can get from nearby shop. Local shop can tell you what is good and what is bad. Go with them. Usually they replace items if there is a problem. It is waste of time doing this online.
For branded items like CERA, I think you can get cheaper price online.
Depends on the shopkeeper. I have had bad experience returning something in local shop. It would have been easier on amazon, flipkart etc. Just my thoughts
Large hardware items seem okay to buy from flipkart. I think seller is sending minor defective and scratched product sometimes. People do not want to return for minor defects as it will take lot of time.
On the other side in shops we ask for a different piece if there is minor problem.
In my personal experience, buying hardware stuff offline can often be better for cost-saving. I was able to physically inspect the products, and make sure the quality was good. Plus, our area has many local hardware shops so I was able to get competitive prices and was able to get even discounts. you can also negotiate on bulk purchases.
Online ads for hardware can look appealing, but they are quite expensive. It is better to explore the local stores for these essentials. They are much more affordable.

Hardware items online too costly. Local shop is cheaper and faster. non-branded items you can get at half price than online price.
Bathroom fittlings etc. are cheaper at offline stores. Also, it is easier to try and replace items if that did not work.

If you find costeffective, then why not? I would not buy anythimg without a return or replacement policy.
