Hi guys, I am comparing two LG 6.5 kg washing machines. The cheaper one is 16.5k
And the other one, slightly expensive, is:
The later has some circular fan-like things at the bottom. Can someone tell if it is worth paying the extra money?

The one around 18k is pretty good top-load machine. Our previous machine was a cheaper one and had a lot of vibrations.

If you are not very brand -specific, you can find similar quality machines much cheaper in other brands. LG charges a premium for the brand image they have.
From personal experience I can tell DO NOT just choose ANY brand. Whirlpool for example has some cheaper options but those machine are too bad in quality. Thin sheets, light weight, bad grip on floor and a lot of vibration and noise. At one point the machine started moving so much that it tipped over from the raised platform we had for it.
We went for an LG machine that was around 17K. Not sure if it was the same one as mentioned above. It has a black top glass and soft closing.
“the fan like things at the bottom” is marketing gimmick. I have used both the models and nothing is wrong with the cheaper one. Performance is very good on that. You will not get slow closing lid. That is also a marketing gimmick.
What I did not like in the expensive one is the black glass lid. You need a flash light to see what is happening inside :). Do not waste your money.
