I doubt if prices would definitely fall during winter. In fact, there is new product launches and much higher competition at the start of the summer season, around March. That is when you would see deals and offers. Just keep note of current price and compare that with what you get during October sale or December?
OFF SEASON? Now AC is ON through out the year.
Why do you want to buy in off season? Very few models will be available.
December is when Air Conditioners are the cheapest. As others suggested, check price now, in October and then in December. Also check if there are offers on installation charges.
Your AC will be one year older when you use it first time 🙂

AC production is low during off season. So, you will not get a lot of variety to choose from.
I think ACs are now being used almost for 8-9 months except winter. Som not sure about the off-season discount. But you can get some good deals during Diwali sale around October- November. Explore online and offline stores to check if there are some attractive deals.
