The beauty and skincare market is abuzz with new products every day. People are looking for products that moisturize the skin and keep it plump and supple. Earlier, people would only apply face creams for moisturization. Then, serums came into the picture and became an instant favorite among skincare enthusiasts. Post that, we saw something new in the form of sheet masks. While initially, there were only a few brands that offered sheet masks, now one can find a plethora of options.
I started using sheet masks back in 2019, and it was a game-changer for me. Sheet masks are not a fad that will disappear from the beauty industry. The fact that they are so popular to date is a reflection of the wonders they work. They are not going anywhere anytime soon!
What makes sheet masks a great choice?
- They feel so soft and smell great. You can apply them easily without any hassle or mess. Just remove the mask from the pack and place it on your face till it dries up.
- The serum in the sheet mask gets absorbed in your skin easily while you rest and listen to your favorite song; basically, just chill!
- You can also use a jade roller to further help your skin absorb the serum.
- Once the sheet dries up, you can take the remaining serum in your palms and massage gently on your face and neck till it absorbs well.
- Sheet mask will leave your skin moisturized, hydrated, and glowing.
- It works as the best base for makeup.
- If your skin is irritated and red, sheet masks can offer a calm and soothing effect.
- They don’t cause pimples.
It is to be known that sheet masks offer instant moisturization to the skin, but it is not a remedy that will last long. You can use it to pamper your skin pre or post-makeup or after a tiring day to rejuvenate it.
The Nykaa sheet masks are very popular. They are also available at ‘buy five and get five for free’ scheme, which makes them affordable. I would like to mention that apart from Nykaa sheet masks, the Garnier, Lakme, and Ponds sheet masks are also worth trying. They are equally effective and available at great prices. The ponds sheet masks are one of my favorites after the Nykaa ones and I would definitely recommend other to try them.
