Which Peanut Butter Is Best: Pintola or Alpino?

I have been trying to clean up my diet and add healthier options to my meals. One thing I’ve started using more often is peanut butter. But the tricky part is finding a natural, sugar-free version that doesn’t compromise on taste and texture. I have narrowed it down to two brands – Pintola and Alpino, but I am not sure which one is the better choice.

Pintola Peanut Butter: Pintola is pretty well-known, especially for its natural peanut butter options. Their sugar-free variant caught my attention because it’s made from just roasted peanuts, with no added sugar, salt, or oils. The reviews talk a lot about how smooth and creamy it is, which is great for spreading on toast or mixing into smoothies. I have seen that it is available in both creamy and crunchy versions, and people seem to like the fact that it has a balanced, nutty flavor without being too oily. But I am wondering if it might taste a little bland since it doesn’t have any added sweetness. Has anyone tried this? Does it work well in things like oatmeal or on its own, or is it a bit too plain?

Alpino Peanut Butter: Alpino is another brand I have heard a lot about. Their natural peanut butter is also sugar free, and they claim it is made from 100% roasted peanuts, similar to Pintola. I have noticed that Alpino seems to have a slightly thicker consistency, which might make it more filling for things like snacks or shakes. Plus, they are known for offering more flavor variations like dark chocolate or honey peanut butter, but those aren’t sugar-free, of course. Some people say Alpino has a richer, more roasted peanut taste, but is it really that different from Pintola? I’m also curious if the texture holds up well in things like sandwiches, or does it dry out after opening the jar?

Price and Availability: Both brands seem to be pretty comparable in terms of price, but I have noticed that Pintola is sometimes a bit more affordable in larger packs, especially on sites like Amazon or Flipkart. Alpino tends to run a little higher, but I have seen them offer combination packs with different variants, which could be nice if you want to try a couple of flavors at once.

Which One’s Better?

For someone like me who’s specifically looking for a sugar-free peanut butter, both seem like solid options, but I am torn between Pintola’s creamy texture and Alpino’s possibly richer flavor. If anyone has tried both brands, especially their natural peanut butter versions, I would love to know your experience. Is one better in terms of taste, or do they feel pretty much the same? And how’s the consistency after a few weeks of use? Looking forward to some feedback before I make a decision!

  1. Pintola seemed better. There are new brands like “The Whole Truth” as long as you trust their Ads about being free from chemicals, preservatives etc.
We also tried Yoga Bar and most of their products seemed good and tasty. I found it more healthy. However, my friend shared a jar of homemade peanut butter and it was awesome.

    1. I will try and order the Pintola one. Will let you know about how it is. Yes, I have tried Yoga Bar before, but didn’t like it as much. It is healthy but the taste didn’t have enough nuttiness.

  2. We started buying peanut butter only after kids started asking for it, thanks to TV and Youtube. None of the two brands above, we got Saffola peanut butter a couple of times. Their jaggery variety one tastes very good and natural.

    1. I have been able to try out some brands in last couple of months and here’s my personal experience with some of the peanut butter brands, including Pintola and Saffola:

Pintola All-Natural Peanut Butter: I have been using this, and it’s a staple. It is made with just roasted peanuts, no added sugar or salt, which I love. The creamy texture spreads well, and it tastes fresh. It’s great for smoothies and as a healthy snack with fruits.

Saffola Fittify Peanut Butter: After your suggestion, Nirmala, I ordered this and it feels premium and slightly more indulgent. I really appreciate its high protein content and no trans fats. The chocolate-flavored version is a treat if you want variety. It’s been excellent post-workout.

The Butternut Co. Peanut Butter: Another all-natural option, this one has a slightly grainier texture, which some may like. I have used it mostly in baking and energy balls. It is also flavorful and doesn’t feel overly processed.

Alpino Natural Peanut Butter: This one’s been a go-to for its simple ingredient list and good consistency. It is slightly thicker than Pintola but equally versatile. Works great as a sandwich spread or even straight out of the jar.

MYFITNESS Peanut Butter: Known for its protein boost, this is great if you are into fitness. It is slightly sweeter compared to others, but the crunchy version is amazing for adding texture to snacks.

Each of these brands has its perks, but Pintola remains my favorite for its natural taste and versatility!
