Can you suggest a waterproof table cloth for my dining table? It’s sheesham wood table and gets very dirty with food and drinks.
I found some table covers online. They seem too much like plastic. Isn’t there anything that is plastic but soft like cloth? Please help if you have used something similar.
Try these “Katwa Clasic” table cloth. https://www.amazon.in/s?k=katwa+table+cloth
There are a variety of colors available. After researching a lot we bought one of these. The print looks nice and material is good. However, the print is actually somehow attached on top of base sheet. So it can come out in pieces over time. I can see tiny white pieces chipping off from the main sheet. Not a big deal though.
On an average, the sheet would go 6 months or so, before you will start seeing damage. Worth buying if you don’t mind the print chipping off.
Almost all these plastic table covers will harden over time. Six months or so seems bit too short for that though, IMHO.
Cloth material will be good. Nylon or synthetic cloth will be good and water will not pass through.
Just keep in mind moisure retained beneath plastic sheets can cause fungus damage to table top.
You can find some great tablecloth options on Amazon and Flipkart. Most of them are plastic and I am not sure if they will help. Read and reviews and check, you might fins something really good.
