I have been looking to furnish my living room, and after some research, I have narrowed it down to Pepperfry and Urban Ladder. But I am still a bit confused about which one to go with, so I thought I should ask for your opinions!
Here’s what I’m looking to furnish:
– Sofa set that’s comfy but stylish
– Coffee table (preferably something sleek but functional)
– A couple of accent chairs for extra seating
– Maybe a TV unit and some shelves in it for decor
In terms of price, I have noticed Pepperfry seems to have more frequent sales and discounts, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about their quality and service. Urban Ladder, on the other hand, seems to focus more on design and durability, but it’s a bit pricier. I am looking for something that’s affordable but doesn’t compromise on quality.
Has anyone furnished their living room with pieces from either brand? How was your experience with delivery, assembly, and overall quality? Also, if you have found one of these brands better for certain types of furniture (like a sofa or coffee table), let me know. Or, if there’s another service you’ve tried and recommend, I’m open to suggestions! Would love to hear your thoughts before I make my decision. Thanks.

I don’t know where you live. But it is worth a try at local furniture shops. I feel you have a better chance at quality and durability.
I would choose pepperfry for relatively cheaper furniture, engineered wood etc.and urban ladder for solid wood furniture. If you are considering buying online, Amazon Solimo furnitures may be good for you. Flipkart is also promoting a lot of furnitures these days.
The problem is we only have two shops in our town and there’s no major variety and we have to go all the way 200 kms away from home. And, now with delivery convenience, I was thinking to getting something online. Thanks for sharing, I will try Amazon Solimo, I also have read good reviews about it.
